Travelling to Angkor Archaeological Park in late March, April or May, all visitors may face the unbeatable scorching heat after 10.00AM, even we will still feel the heat after 3PM in the afternoon.
Having experienced the scorching heat around Angkor several years ago, -if I have the chance to be there again-, I’d rather be sitting or taking a nap under the shady trees or perhaps be the shady big tree itself (LOL). Those big trees would provide shady atmosphere with the cool breeze go through them for the people and the ancient temples. Of course, people can spread their mats under the trees to have a temporary rest, at least that was what I saw the local people had done.
So, would you like to join me to have a picnic there? 😀

The Shady Trees around Angkor Wat
Beautiful photo! The shade trees are really enticing!
