Whenever I have a chance to visit Angkor Archaeological Park, I will stop for a while at Bayon Temple, the official state temple of King Jayavarman VII which stands gloriously in the center of the ancient city, Angkor Thom. This temple is one of the most important temples in Angkor Archaeological Park and I’ve never getting bored to take pictures on this religious site.
Bayon temple is a famous and richly decorated temple in Cambodia. Built in the late 12th or early 13th century, Bayon temple’s most distinctive feature is the multitude of majestic faces with smiles on many towers. I stood there only for a couple of minutes in front of Bayon temple, -just to feel the admirable profound mysterious smiles-, I knew I could never say goodbye to Bayon temple, my favorite temple.
