WPC – An Ancient Walkway

Ancient Walkway at Baphuon Temple

As one of nice ancient temples in Angkor Thom complex, Baphuon Temple becomes one of my favorite temples because of its long sandstone elevated walkway from the east entrance which forms a bridge to the main temple. Different from the wide walkway in Angkor Wat, this 200 meters long walkway in Baphuon is only supported by three rows of short columns which makes it a narrow walkway.

But it is still beautiful and nice… like an ancient fashion runway 😀
