When visiting Wat Ounalom, – a beautifully maintained religious site that is located at a walking distance from the bustling riverside area in Phnom Penh -, I saw some birds standing atop the spiky décor on the beautiful stupa’s roof. The calmness and comfort of the birds on the small high point gave me an insight and thought of Rumi’s words:
Wherever you stand be the soul of that place
Perhaps, it’s something simple (or actually not easy?) which we can learn from God’s creature.
