WPC – Trio Spires

Silver Pagoda (left), Throne Hall and Khemarin Palace as Royal Residence (right) – Phnom Penh

In May last year finally I had a chance to visit Cambodia again after 18 months being busy in my home country. Although it was only a long weekend getaway, but I had beautiful moments around Angkorian temples in Lolei’s group and Phnom Kulen as well, had the joy around Battambang and Oudong and for sure, Phnom Penh.

As a riverside admirer, I always stay in a hotel in Riverfront area, near Royal Palace. And in May, I was staying in a hotel facing directly to Royal Palace! For me, the view, -the three buildings with traditional spires in Royal Palace complex-, was so remarkable. The peaceful Silver Pagoda in far left, the majestic Throne Hall in the middle and the superb Khemarin Palace as the Royal Residence of the King. Each building brings its own atmosphere and together in unity as a trio they bring a splendid Khmer environment.
