For this week’s photo challenge with the theme Close-Up, I select a photo of a small lotus flower which was in the process of blooming. Sometimes we overlook of small things but if we make time for taking care of small things, perhaps we will find beautiful things.
Well, we can learn something about life from this flower which is easy to find in Cambodia, in a pond or flower basin in the monasteries, Buddhist temples or houses. We know all that this flower is born and grows in water, sometimes muddy water then rises out of water to stand above it, blooms beautifully unsoiled. It teaches where we reach is more important, not where we come from.
Like a lotus flower in full bloom, even in a muddy pond,
Beautiful and strong
